Breath in Sight
Sculpture, Live Dance Performance, 5 min 19 seconds , 2025The creation of ‘Breath in Sight’ was a process of exploring the weight of breath—something unseen yet deeply felt. Breath is more than a simple act of survival; it carries tension, emotion, and the awareness of our existence. This work aimed to make breath visible, to reveal its flow and weight through movement, gaze, and scale.
The moment the body cuts through the air, the camera captures its trace. Capturing movement is not just about preserving—it’s about revealing what’s beyond the frame, in every breath and every pause.
This performance allowed the audience to experience breath in a new way—to sense its presence, its limits, and the quiet anxiety it holds. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined me on this journey.
‘Breath in Sight’ (2025)
Breath, though invisible, holds weight. This performance explores the finite nature of human existence and the anxiety it brings, using the relationship between breath and observation. Through the interplay of scale, gaze, and movement, the work reveals the physical and emotional weight of breath, visualising its flow of tension and anxiety. Audiences are invited to reflect on the unseen essence of breath and confront the limits of human life viscerally.
